BeAware was founded to promote awareness and to remember those who have died doing what they loved most, riding their motorcycle. Be Aware began in the summer of 2010. A summer of heartache and tragedy, when many of our loved ones were killed by motorists who were not paying enough attention and did not see the motorcycle.

One of those loved ones was Bob Wright of Holland MI, who was struck while riding his bike on a sunny afternoon. Bob had a caring heart for others and a hug for everyone he met. The lighter you see on each page is in honor of Bob, who was known for being quick with a light and a smile (See In Remembrance). This site is dedicated to Bob and all the others who were needlessly lost.
Our Goal

The goal of BeAware is to bring motorcycle awareness to our community while remembering those who have died. We have joined with the Children of Fallen Riders Charity to raise funds for families of bikers who have been killed by motorists. Your donations are appreciated and can be made directly to the Children of Fallen Riders Charity. Thank you very much for your support.
