JDR Enterprises, LLC, a brand management and marketing firm, created by Jeff DeYoung and Don Rodgers. JDR was formed to market their first creation Sharkwater, a 40 proof Tropical Liqueur.

Sharkwater began in late 2006, being enjoyed by family and friends. With encouragement and positive feedback, the pair decided to research the feasibility of Sharkwater in market. With its initial bottling in February 2009, Sharkwater has exceeded industry standards and their own projections. It is currently available for purchase in over half of the United States, and will be available for purchase in Mexico beginning September 2009.

Owner Biography

Jeff DeYoung: grew up in Southern California and moved to West Michigan in the fall of 1993. Employed by a local furniture manufacturer, during which, he sought to further his education by recently receiving his MBA. Jeff is married and has two children. He is an active member in his community and within his church. His interests include music, playing and watching sports, the beach, hanging out with friends and family, and enjoying Sharkwater.

Don Rodgers: grew up in West Michigan and is a Michigander through and through. He has worked within the sales and finance departments for a few West Michigan companies. He has also received education and background from Grand Valley State University. Don is married and has two children. He is involved with several activities locally. His interests include sports, music, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and family, along with Sharkwater.
